Collaboration
The webcams observe the sky, and so can be useful in many areas and to different interests.
This is especially my goal as the operator.
Currently (08.07.2024), there is collaboration in areas of weather, meteor tracking, and aurora borealis observation.
Therefore, I have decided to highlight the ways, opportunities, and methods of collaboration.
First and foremost, I want to emphasize one thing.
All kinds of collaboration should be based on mutual attribution and source acknowledgment!
The essence of the background work involves maintaining the cameras, ensuring as stable an internet connection as possible, and making the images available. Processing is automatic.
A few words about these conditions:
The camera images are processed by a dedicated server, with the server and camera power supplies supported by uninterruptible power for a limited time.
Despite all my efforts, interruptions may occur - and have happened more than once - due to either a predictable or unpredictable event, such as internet disconnection, temporary power outages, or even due to a mouse chewing on a cable.
Additionally, updates or developments on the server may temporarily make the streams or images unavailable.
Thank you in advance for your understanding regarding these interruptions.
Support for maintaining the cameras and server system is welcome: (Thank you in advance!)
Regarding the technical details of the collaboration, publicly I support access to images in JPEG format with usage acknowledgment.
Additionally, an individual key for accessing live HLS streams of the camera images can be provided upon request.
Further details can be discussed via email; let's start on the Contact page.
